Friendliness, pride, leadership, and competition . .. all are facets of Crawford’s total atmosphere. Friendliness is evident throughout the day. The lunch quad is the starting place of discussions and friendships. Students, teachers and administrators enjoy a close relationship. Pride in the school and in individual success is exhibited by every person at Crawford. The custodians work for the physical appearance of the school, while students uphold its honor scholastically and athletically. The committees of the Associated Student Body and the various other campus activities provide an opportunity for as many students as possible to have a voice in school activities. With the spirit of competition encouraging everyone to do his best and to sup- port the school’s endeavors, athletic events and school functions are well attended. All these aspects form the spirit of Crawford High School. The 1966 CENTAUR is devoted to showing the spirit of the school expressed in the various parts of Crawford life.
