A very im- portant proiect directed toward community welfare was the Save the Children Federation, in which the boys collected clothes to send to needy children. School activities included the Car Show, the Alumni Basketball Game, and a sale of colorful beanies. The Boys' Federation also co-sponsored Autumn Round-up, the first dance of the year. Under the guidance of Mr. Joseph Reiker, the Faculty Adviser, and Donna Ochiuto, the Editor-in-chief, a superior paper has been produced. Many new features have been added this year. Two of these are the Entertainment Column and the College Corner. These new articles, combined with other successful col- umns, direct the students towards activities which enable them to become well-rounded individuals. A place where students can voice their own opinions is the Letters to the Editor section of the paper. Many controversial topics were introduced here in the past year. Both complaints and compliments alike were voiced in this department. 33
