A very im- portant proiect directed toward community welfare was the Save the Children Federation, in which the boys collected clothes to send to needy children. School activities included the Car Show, the Alumni Basketball Game, and a sale of colorful beanies. The Boys' Federation also co-sponsored Autumn Round-up, the first dance of the year. Autumn Round-up, Fillies Follies, April a la Mode, and a chrys- anthemum sale were activities for which the Girls' League was responsible. They also sponsored an after- game dance, for which the admission was a book. The books were then sent to an orphanage in Manila. Another proiect which the organization advocates was the selection of the Girl of the Month.
