The monitors, who offer a helping hand to our school personnel and to all Crawford students, certainly deserve com- mendations. They have donated many hours of worthy service to our school. A principal iob of the monitors is to relay mes- sages from school offi- cials to students. Other iobs performed include bookkeeping, typing, and filing. 28 The Elections Commit- tee, under the direction of Suzanne Knoll, co- ordinated all school elections: class, Song and Cheerleaders, and A.S.B. The main responsibil- ity of this efficient com- mittee was to organize and officiate at the A.S.B. Nominating Con- vention held in April. Y 1' X ' .la : ii , A . T. H ..,, A , my . . , ,, - ,,,.,- . named gd .!46:SelflfL A95 The Rallies and Assemblies Committee was an important aid in inspiring our enthusiastic school spirit. It was the duty of Judie Stone and her committee to plan and present interesting rallies and assemblies. The committee, working closely with the art, music and drama de- partments, has provided intriguing programs for the student body. This year we were fortunate to have the opera, La Boheme, presented for us. Other assem- blies which were enioyed featured the Darringers, the Redlands Choir and our foreign exchange stu- dents. ft to right, row I-Green, lamb. Row 2-Pomplun, Dawes, Bell, O'Carroll. Ball, and spon- sored the Theme contest. This year A Night With Neptune was the theme, which was carried out very effectively in the sumptuous decorations and in the favors made by the Auroras. The Committee strived to organize our campus sales and to plan our activities so that they would run smoothly and effectively. It also helped to solve the problem of com- munication between the various school organ- izations through the Inter-Club Council. 27

S fi The very capable students in Art Service, under the direction of Mr. James Gibbs, helped to promote school spirit through their artistic talents. They used their skills in letter- ing and their aptness in the form of posters. They advertised our school plays, dances, sales, and other extra- curricular activities. The Art Service also made decorations which added to the atmosphere of our dances. These students certainly contributed both time and effort to their school and fellow students.
