Mr. A. R. Moon, County Superintendent Students and other friends of Crawford County: The Crawford County Vocational Technical School adds another chapter to the development of our educational institutions in Crawford County. Students, thru the use of modern facilities and motivated by a competent faculty, learn first-hand the trades that will prepare them for'their future vocations in our competitive society. They meet and solve ev- eryday problems, utilizing the three indisputable assets of mankind - reason, logic and common sense, and doing this prepare themselves for the more difficult situations that are certain to arise. Students, faculty and friends are combining their efforts to build an even better technical school and their work has been rewarded. The first annual is part of that development. We extend our best wishes to you who are served by the publication and to the people whose labors made it possible.

There was a certainty in this man, who was un- afraid to share himself with othersg unafraid to be- come involved in the candid life of a student. He engaged with vitality his learning and teaching life. He was always admired for the way he ap- proached life's problems, and he was our example. We aspire to be like him.
