Like so many squares on a checkerboard, they combine to add more enjoyment to the game of learning. Clubs of many different types and proportions abound, and a student of any academic subject may obey his gregarious instinct and take part in the activities offered by the club in that field. Budding young artists, actors, farmers, and business leaders seeking security and encouragement in numbers band together to form various organizations. Entertainment and supplementary information gained from school clubs add a special flavor not received in class to academic and elective subjects. Each C.C.H.S. club functions independently but, like all construction lines in a good plan, is necessary to complete the perspective.
