Ft Scott 55 Anna Minden 50 Arms Liberal 18 Anna McCune 25 Arms College High 28 Arma Arcadia 29 Anma Frontenac 42 o t Anma PITTSBUHG REGIONALS Stark 50 Arma Arcadia 51 Arms St Kary's 29 Arma STATE SEMI FINALS AT EUREKA Clearvater 55 Arms 28 Arms climaxed a spectacular basketball season by attending the state tournament at Eureka, Kansas, March 16, 17 This is the second time in the history of C C H S that we have won the privilege to go to the state semi finals In the Frontenac Class B Elimination Tournament we placed second, thus getting ourselves invited to the Regional Tournament at Pittsburg the next week There we had to fight our way up to the semi finals in which we captured first place by upsetting the favored Panthers in a game that was a thriller At the state semi finals tournament we were eliminated in the first game by Clearwater, the team that later won the Eureka tournament, and got second in the finals at Topeka Nine of the twenty five boys lettered this year, only one of the regular first five graduates, and only four out of the whole squad are graduating, consequently we are hoping for a very good team next year le wish to congratulate Coach Gilmour and all of the boys for a very successful season this year 20 guttgn, Bobby Kynion.
