The 1960 Basketball Banquet was attended by approximately seventy varsity and JV basketball players and dates, special invited guests and the Comettes who put it on. The master of ceremonies for the evening was John Caster and the special speaker was Dr. Edwin Durno of Medford. The boys who received awards for outstanding playing during the basketball season were Chuck Turner, most valuable player and rebound trophies, Dennis Edwards, sportsmanship trophy, Earl Cooper, field goal average, Dave Sharp, free throw trophy. ftx

Three boys received trophies for their outstanding football playing this year at the FOOTBALL BANQUET. Glen Cote' was awarded the most valuable lineman, Jim Eldred the sportsmanship trophy and Gary Johnson was presented the most valuable player of the football season. We were very proud of our wrestling team this year. They not only went to the state meet with four men, but they came back with A1 Lamp state champ. At the WRESTLING BANQUET, A1 was awarded the most improved xxrest1er's award and Dean Lamp was awarded with the most inspirational wrestler's trophy. l'
