The wonderful decorations and the music of Paul Adams made this a successful prom. The entertain- ment of Teresa Kline and Miss Pat's Dance Studio added much to the evening. The climax was the crowning of Queen Sandra Guss, by Allan Barnes. Sandra's escort was Joe Teeter. Her court consisted of Princess Sue Blake escorted by Kerman Bennett, Princess Jocky Cameron escorted by Jim Estremado, and Princess Kay Askwith escorted by Warren Straus. The coronation was held in a Chinese pagoda with satin cushions and an oriental styled chair for the throne. A tiny white picket fence crossed the front and pink and white streamers enclosed it. ere For Prom

The theme of the 1958 Junior-Senior Prom, Oriental Gar- dens, was beautifully depicted. At the entrance you crossed a small bridge and entered into an oriental wonderland. The hanging lanterns, bright fans, dragons, and kimono-clad serving girls made an aura of oriental beauty and splendor not easily forgotton. The fans and lanterns were kept by the couples for souvenirs. Manzanita trees with tiny blos- soms and an oriental fish pond made up the floor decora- tions. Murals of dragons hung on the walls. The refresh- ment stand was a typical grass hut. Refreshments consisted of Chinese fortune cookies, fresh pineapple, ice cream, nuts and punch. Set Atmos .f X 4 , 7, ,7,,, , V,
