The Pep Band is one ot the newer organizations at Crater. It is com- posed of students interested in band but not necessarily enrolled in it. The Pep Band's main function is playing at the games. They also play tor assemblies, special groups and for different schools. This organization carries its mark or originality. '+- x, v-.J The Crater High School Band, un- der the direction of Norman Carothers, is an instrumental musical organiza- tkon open to all students who play a musical instrument. The hand enables the participants to engage in a variety cr activities among which are contest, concerts, iamborees, testivals,parades, hallgames, and other performances such as trips to neighboring schools and communities.
