Jewett Elementary May 29, 1957 Members of Crater High School: - A rather clever person once said Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss Events, great minds discuss Ideas. You have in this fine yearbook a record of the events of this past year. Have you gained any new ideas that will motivate your life for another year? Have you gained a better idea of the meaning of democracy, of the Fact that our American Way ot' Life means that persons are important? You are the government of the United States. If you take an active interest in student government while you are in school, in self-government in all your own actions, in community, state and national affairs, then you will be doing your part in preserving our American Way of Life. You will help to keep alive the ideas that make your life important to you and everyone else. Sincerely, H. P. Jewett l
