I Wie were defeated by Co1umb1a Hugh School of South Orange Newark Academy and Chatham All three of these teams were fast playmg aggresslve teams and Newark and whxch no partlcular person stars but every one plays together and thus we are able to defeat the other teams The team won from Westfleld M1llburn twxce Plngry Scotch Plams Metuchen and Roselle All the games were fought hard for and none of them were easy vlctorles The team was very unlucky to have Joe Klein one of the pltchers spht h1s fmger at the first Mlllburn game and so be unable to pxtch anymore Also another pxtcher on whom we depended was xnelxglble That left us wlth a staff cons1st1ng of only three pltchers Burly Grmmes W1llKle1n and Burlc We succeeded however and turned m several v1ctor1es anyway Freder 1ckson also p1tched ln the second Mxllburn game Followlng lS the schedule and the scores C H Opp ODD Columbia Pmgry Metuchen Scotch Plams Newark Academy Chatham Westfleld Mlllburn Mlllburn Scotch Plams Roselle nl uI'l Ill W E :ia Chatham were close games with the score of 4-3 in both instances.
