We elected officers as follows: president Ray Dunten, vice-president Dave Miller, sec- retary Cathy Ann Davies, treasurer and business manager Nancy Carson, and student council representative Dee Ann Jenkins. We put on a play called Doctor Fixit for competition in the interclass one-act play contest. To earn money for our class we sold candy, hot-dogs, and coffee. Our Homecoming princess, Dee Ann Jenkins was chosen Queen by the football team. Sophomore student on the B honor roll are Dee Ann Jenkins, Ray Dunten, Cathy Ann Davies, and Dave Miller. 17

Hank Wilkes Skip Williams Paul Meskimen Lavern Starbuck Fifteen scared, but eager rooks entered Crane Union High School on September 13, 1961. They were Charles Armstrong, Gary Atwood, Martin Davies, Dale and Joyce Fink, Ott Hansen, Roy Hair, Johnny and Sharon Krebs, Paul Meskimen, Sarah Sherburn, LaVern Starbuck, Warren Storm, Skip Williams, and Hank Wilkes. Class officers were elected as follows: president - LaVern Starbuck, vice-presi- dent - Skip Williams, secretary - Sharon Krebs, treasurer - Ott Hansen, and student council repre- sentative - Johnny Krebs. Mr. Hawkins was our class advisor. As our pro- ject for the year we sold popcorn, crackerjacks, and potato chips. We elected Sarah Sherburn as our Homecoming princess. Honor students were Sarah Sherburn and Martin 19 Davies.
