Crandon High School andon, Wisconsin ' Si Contents Foreword This is the story of your life at Crandon High School during the 1962-63 school year. We enjoyed planning and editing your CARDINAL, and we sincerely hope that it will preserve a wealth of memories for you now and ten, twenty, fifty years from now. r vr k t, ' 7 Cc- Ff tL e: 2 i l. V 1963 Dedication We, the class of 1963, dedicate this annual to the boys of Crandon High School, who have fought to win the above trophies. They have made a reputation for good sportsmanship all over Northern Wisconsin. The lessons learned in athletics are carrying over into good citizenship of many who have gone out from Crandon High School into adult life or into the various colleges. We are proud of you! Continue to fight for honesty and fair play in the game of life. Administration C. A. KROHN Principal FRED W. MANLEY District Superintendent EUNICE GILMORE High School Secretary ROBERT NETZEL District Secretary It is fitting, because this annual is dedicated to our athletes, to take this opportunity to briefly discuss sportsmanship. It has been said that sportsmanship is that quality of honor that desires always to be courteous, fair, and respectful. The sportsmanship of our students both in athletics and as spectators has reflected courteousness, fairness, and respectfulness to opponents and to officials. Now, as you seniors leave school, carry this same sportsmanship with you into life's contests. Be fair in your dealings with others. Be courteous to all. Show respect to your competitors as well as to the legally elected and appointed officials of your governments. Live your life so, as the poet tells us. When the One Great Scorer comes to write your name He writes not that you won or lost But how you played the game. C. A. Krohn GRACE KRUMM District Curriculum Coordinator 1 EVELYN S. HIMES EVELYNS.
