cr„r wgh hool r3ndon Wisconsin TABLE OP contorts Dedication Administrate Faculty - Seniors - Classes Activities Athletics Advertising 'Dedication . In tribute to our alumni, die seniors dedicate the 1961 CARDINAL. The alumni is an important part of any institution of learning. Through the alumni traditions are kept alive; encouragement is given by the achievements and successes of those who have been graduated. Soon we will belong to that large group of graduates. It is our hope that we, too, will carry on die warm, interested, and friendly spirit the alumni has always shown in our academic progress and in our activities. The spirit of Crandon High will never be absent as long as we have our loyal alumni. C. A. KROHN Principal FRED W. MANLEY District Superintendent GRACE KRUMM District Curriculum Coordinator .Administration In Act I, Scene III of Hamlet, Polonius gives his son, Laertes, some excellent advice. I would like to borrow some of this advice for our Seniors of 1961. Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried, Grapple them to thy soul with hoops of steel . . . Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice: Take each man's censure, but reserve thy judgment. Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy, But not express'd in fancy; rich, not gaudy; For the apparel oft proclaims the man; . . . Neither a borrower nor a lender be: For loan oft losses both itself and friend, . . . This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. Shakespeare said it so well, I offer it for your consideration.
