Reflect a moment while turning these pages, and you will see through the past a vision of the future. As we pause to reminisce, let us remember the friendships and experiences of CHS which have helped in shaping our lives. uz tdo i 'rtytyd, ScAooC va tcCo t, 02( iAco t4i i 4utU HK Dedication 6 Administration 7 Faculty 8 Underclassmen 10 Homecoming 16 Football 18 Physical Education 21 Radio Club 22 Science Club 22 Junior Paper Staff 23 TVcntesi Basketball 26 Cheerleaders 29 ”C Club 29 Band 30 Chorus 32 Student Council 33 Librarians 33 Dramatics 34 Spanish Club 35 Majorettes 35 Forensics 36 Cooks and Custodians 37 Annual Staff 40 Honor Page 41 Prom 42 Senior Class 44 Calendar of Events 52 Advertising 54 DecUccitio t We, the Senior Class of Crandon High School, to show our appreciation for your guidance through our four years of high school, dedicate this, our 1960 Cardinal, to you - the Administration and Faculty. We sincerely hope that this gift truly shows you that your untiring efforts and your undivided attention to each and everyone of us at one time or another has not gone unnoticed. FRED W. MANLEY GRACE KRUMM i District Superintendent District Curriculum Coordinator The seniors and students of Crandon High School are very fortunate to have the opportunity to avail themselves of a yearbook that has the high quality of the Cardinal. Our Cardinal is more than a memory book; it is a pictorial record of four years of school life. School days are some of the best days of our life. To the proud possessors. I admonish them to carefully guard and cherish their Cardinal as its value will increase through the years. The 1960 Cardinal staff and its faculty advisor are to be commended for their unselfish efforts and fine accomplishment. The reward they will receive is the appreciation felt, but not always expressed, by the readers of the book. Personally, it has been an honorable pleasure and privilege to be your superintendent.
