Ronnie Kegley, Don Fra- ser, and John Grandine were elected officers in the first meeting of the year. Ronnie was elected presi- dent, D0n, V. Pres. and John was named Secretary-Treasurer. the Science The Science Club members were busy working on pho- tography, leather craft, and copper enameling projects. Many decorative and useful articles were made. In one of the best Sadie Hawkins Dances in years, Kay Kincaid and Betty Kluss tied for first place for the most unique costumes. On May 16th, the Science Club sponsored Roger Blackmun, in a lyceum assembly. Mr. Blackmun pre- sented a program on astronomy. Competing plays were: Mama's Getting Married, seniors, It's Cold in Them Thar Hills, juniors, What's In a Name?, sophomores, Of All Things, freshmen. f W X Q 'What's In a Name?' was the winner, 'It's Cold in Them Thar Hillsn was second. The District Contest was scheduled before the lhth so our advisor, Mr. Donahue, chose the seniors to represent our school. They received an nAn rating at Eagle River, and we were all very proud of them. KAY BEATS Tm-J BAND, the senior Class Play, was V presented April 25.
