SCPHCHORE CLA3S PLAY SOPHOMORES Wo enrolled in Crandon High School In the year of 1953 In our freshmen year we elected Kermit Ch9rrpine, President; Cl9ra Samz, Vice President; and Roy Jesse Secretary and Treasurer. Our two student council representatives were Ruby Kinkaid and Tim Greislnger. This year the class elected Tim Grelslnrer as President; Clara Samz, Vice President; and Pat Garris as Secretary and Treasurer. Our student council members are Barbara Yocum and Jack Schaefer. This year the sophomores have taken part in more activities than they did last year. Our play The Shock of His Life1' was a great success having taken first place In the contest. We were very proud of that. We also took first place on our Homecoming float and window. ulte a few members of our class went out for forensics and various other activities. We wish to thank our class advisors. Miss Bowden, and Mr. Olsen for all the help they have given us in making this year a successful one. 16

r E E f H H E N Standing- Hathert, J. Kerr, E. Prast. Seated- Mr. Krohn, Mr. Donohue. We entered Crandon High School as freshman in 195U. We elected Roger Rathert President, Jim Kerr Vice President, Elroy Prast Secretary and Treasurer, and Jim Hilman and Betty A. Rhodes on the Student Council. Our class received second place on both the Homecoming float and window. We also got second place on our one act play The blue Jeans girl . More freshman went out for Forensics this year than any other class. We wish to thank our advisors Mr. Krohn and Mr. Donahue for the guidance during our freshman year. 18
