OLIVER! OLIVER, the stage play by Lionel Bart based on Charles Dickens ' OLIVER TVV ' IST, was an ambitious production shared by the speech and music depar tments May 26-28 in the school Learning Center. Sell- out audiences attended this popular play each night. The smell of grease-paint and love of the limelight kept the cast working long hours during the month of May to make the play the success of the year. Under the direction of Mr. John Hester and musical direction of Mr. W. R. Petreman oil cues were perfectly timed so that music and words were coordinated. 104
