Mrs. Fitzgerald and the children are having story and sharing time. These ex- periences contribute to reading readiness and make learning to read easier. Singing is fun, especially if you can help the teacher by turning pages. First graders are proud of the piano right in their room. The animals were quartered in the schoolyard for several days, and students had ample opportunity to observe them. This program was part of the school's edu- cational assembly program series.
