ie Dedication a 74.2 56 Wanna! gow to... VIRGINIA FRAZIER The yearbook staff takes great pleasure in dedicating this year's Hornet to Mrs. Virginia Frazier. Mrs. Frazier has always made every effort to see that we have done our best in our activities as well as class work. In order to accomplish this she has devoted many long hours after school and at home, working with the yearbook, the school paper, and promoting scholarship in her classes. In addition to the above she also acts as sponsor of the senior class and directs the senior play. By this dedication we hope to indicate, in some small fashion, our appreciation for one who works so unselfishly in our behalf. Thanks again 3 The Staff

The unanimous decision, without hesitation or discussion, was that no words or awards could fully express to Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Parrish, teacher of the eighth grade, our devotion. If ever a teacher's life exemplified the words of the Scripture s: Who shall find a virtuous woman, for her price is far above rubies, the life of Ida Elizabeth Parrish does. Mrs. Parrish, who completes this spring thirty years of teaching, has given twenty- two years of teaching service in Holt County, fourteen of which have been in Craig. The number of students on whom her influence has fallen comes to a staggering total. Take untold patience, mix it with an abundance of love, add a keen intellect, a zest for living, a dry humor, season all with a caustic wit, and you have Mrs. Parrish--who through the years has been our friend when we needed a friendg our mother-confessor when we needed to sob out some little story of heartbreak or distress, our critic, prais- ing or correcting as we needed it, our judge, stern or lenient as befitted the case on trial, our guide, leading us to richer experiences when we thought she was following us, our TEACHER, to whom we are devoted, Mrs. Parrish.
