E ' f This year Tom Kite, head coach of the Hornets, enjoyed his first undefeated season and 275 Confer- ence Championship in nine years. It was Craig's first Confer- ence Championship in eleven years although they were in the runner up spot three times. This years undefeated Champion ship team fulfilled Tom': every dream, even the one of being put under the shower. Popcorn Bowl After completing an undefeated season, the Hornets received invitations to comjete in the WPony Express Bowlu At St. Joseph and the nPoj Corn bowln at Tarkio The players chose the WPop Corn bowlu, and on November l5th, journeyed to Tarkio to play Dawson, Nebraska's undefeated team. 6 The g1me was a true championship contest but Dawson edged Craig 2 -lb.
