SCHROTH X 141, Foreword The 1963-64 school year was basically the same as any high school yearg we studied, had fun, experi- enced sad moments of trial and error. There were games and dancesg voices were hoarse from pep rallies. There were brief moments of glory for some of us in sports, musical, and dramatic productions. All shared the hope- less reality of examinations and deadlines, the semester grades, and the crowded halls. For some of us, however, this year was uniqueg we will never forget our last year at C.H.S. Football Despite, a disappointing winless record, the 1965 Cougars showed spirited desire and aggressiveness. The installation of new plays by Head Coach Kmetz brought about a strong offensive thrust. Though much promise was shown during pre-season drills, the team never recovered from a hard-luck, one-point loss to Avalon in the initial fray. However the future looks bright as Underclassmen composed the nucleus of the team. 1 COACHES STAFF The new coaching staff headed by Paul Kmetz instilled spirit into a steadily pro- gressing Cougar squad. In his first year, Mr. MCKevitt ably aided Mr. Mellett in coaching the line. Our coaches are looking forward to a winning season with the return of experienced boys. 72 FRED DANZIGER-GUARD if Senior Stars if JEL 'FY E4 ?
