Once again the school year terminates, and the seniors go forth to take their places in the world of tomorrow. This was an evaluation year, and the GINKGO now tries to evaluate the senior class of 1956. What purpose has our graduation fulfilled? The receiving of diplomas is only a token of the untold wealth of knowledge and good times reaped by our graduates. As we cast aside our high school life and begin to View life in a new light, what memories of this wonderful year will we cherish forever? Perhaps some will remember the intoxicating gaiety of the Football Dance and the junior Prom. Others, no doubt, will recall the break from the dull routine of lessons and books furnished by our clubs and other extra-curricular activities. Still others will never forget the classes themselves, the fast teacher- student exchange of opinions and the humorous notes that frequently brightened the school days. Hut who of us will ever forget the evaluationf- the anxiety of the teachers, the students, and the thrill of knowing that we had passed inspection with flying colors? Let us not be misled: let us not lose sight of the job ahead. Let us evaluate this school year ourselves and estimate the value of our achievements. Read this hook fondly. Laugh at the amusing recollections and feel sad at the sentimental ones. Live the year of 1950 over again through the pages of this book, and evaluate its importance in your life.
