C pprecialion O Jfis JKanp Services Walking through the halls of Cradock, we as Seniors, have associated with him as an English teacher, as a dramatic instructor, as a counselor, and as a personal friend. Mr. Blake received his B.A. degree upon grad- ating from Fairmont State College. After teaching at Woodrow Wilson High School, he embarked on his teaching career at Cradock. His guidance has shown a deep understanding of youth, and has provided an example of such worth, that as we venture forth from these walls, our goals are elevated by his example. He has in- stilled in us a love of drama, wit, and laughter. As we look back on all the things he has given us, we deem ourselves fortunate to have known him. We the Senior Class want the world to know, This was a man!

Tomorrow is far away but time creeps on and one must have a plan. Side-by-side with his friends — or alone — the individual stands whether thinking, work- ing, playing — always retaining his dignity, keeping his own counsel, thinking solitary thoughts.
