CLASS PROPHECY As I was sitting in Study Hall one day I fell asleep and I had a very strange dream. It was the year 1963 and I saw. Joe Caldwell still driving one of those big milk trucks. Joe is now the owner of a large fleet of trucks. Sue Dotson, whose future has always been based on homemaking, is keeping house for R. J. and their three children. Take a letter, please. Miss Ferguson. Ruth is secretary to the president of the largest bank in Clyde. Lower the gang plank, folks! Do you see whom 1 see? None other than our own Hershel Haney, and Dewitt James, who are now in the United States Marines. Who is the famous guitar player starring over the Grand Ole Opry? Why, Wilma Jolley, of course. I ' ve heard he had to build a larger barn this year and is buying new machiners. What he learned in F.F. A. must have been worth a lot or could his summer job have influenced his career?? McClain Pope is now manager of the Western Auto Store in Waynesville. He can hardly keep parts for the Hot Rods the boys from Iron Duff are driving. He complains he can ' t sell them any speedometers. I suppose you are wondering what 1 was doing in the dream. Well, it was very Interesting but you see I was too busy thinking about my classmates to remember what it was. Oh, how dreadful, I almost forgot two members of our class.
