Dedication TO A MOST DISTINGUISHED FAN . .. Mr. Joe Jacobs. Jr. Mr. Jacobs attended Follis Gtode School and Dunbar High School ot Wellsfon where he participated in the wrestling ond boxing programs. He hos since been o long-time resident of Coyle. In 1964 he developed o personal interest in the activities ot Coyle when his nephew. Sfocy Williams, joined the student body. And by the time Stacy hod actually mode the team, he had truly developed Basketball Fever. As a result, he become an avid follower and supporter, no matter where the team compered — locally or out of town. He has also played in exhibition games for Old Timers. On April 19. 1967, he was o recipient of the Honorary Chapter Farmer Degree which was presented to him ot Coyle's 20th Annual FFA Banquet. Joe hos been a faithful Bluejacket fan for the past IB years. Occasionally, you may have observed him jotting down material in a small book. For some time now he hos kept half-time ond end of game scores for each game we have played. So if you want to know the score, just ask JOE.” He may think we (the players) don't notice him, but we always recognize his friendly, smiling face, sifting high up on the top bleacher.
