This is particularly true of a student council anywhere, and especially here in juco for 1955-56. Phil Logan headed the group's action for the first semester, then after a spirited campaign, jack Ander- son was elected to lead the second semester's pro- gramming of the council. The Halloween Party, the Christmas Formal, and the Tigerama highlighted the the years' activities, but ir's the many day to day chores of the members which made for a progressive year. What makes editors proud, weary and tired? Take one look at this, then relook your book over and try to visualize the planning, the copy writing, picture taking, developing and printing, trimming and mounting, identification and proof reading, selling and bookkeeping which had to go on while you tended your own business. St. John Chapter of the Future Teachers of America under the joint sponsorship of Mary Margaret Williams, Ethelle Ireton and Wilda McIntyre experienced a wide and varied field of activities. New members were initiated into the order before the Local City Teachers Associa- tion. They attended sessions of the Kansas State Teachers Association. The group held monthly parties, meetings or banquets, visited school units and assisted in most school activities.
