f. s Rest Assured was the title of this year's school production. Under direc- tion of Mr. Riddle, English teacher, this performance turned out to be one of the best in the past couple of years. Leading the cast of characters is freshman standout Steve Jones who Below. David Frank and Karian- nie Polk look like they have aged a few years or so. played a near perfect Luci- fer. Senior Shonna Carter, Juniors Brian Allred, April Wisehart, Scott King and Melissa Mullins, along with Sophomore David Frank all did an outstand- ing job that they all should be proud of and looking forward to next year. Rene Clayborn watches as Mr. Allred tries to kill Cristy Davis. Why? Cheri Combs attempts to climb up Scott King's leg during the opening act. Shonna Carter gives us her disappointed-moth- er-look, I guess she's getting her practice in.

HOMECOMING '87 February 13 was the date for this year's homecom- ing. Shot Through the Heart, a popular song by Bon Jovi, was the theme for our Valentine weekend basketball game. During the week at school the Freshmen won dress-up days. Seniors dominated the float and wall decora- tions by taking a first in Below. The Seniors celebrate their win in the float competition. each. That evening in- between games against Randolph Southern Ste- phen Brand and Michelle Spangler were named King and Queen. Following the game, which we lost in a close decision 65-61, the dance sponsored by Stu- dent Council was held in the elementary gym.
