The C-Club is an elite group of athletes who worked hard enough to earn a letter in their chosen sport. Each of the many sports offered at Covington has its own requirements for awarding letters. Mr. Rick Abbott served as sponsor. The off-season athletes assisted in running the concession stand, which brought added revenue to the athletic department.
