To the experienced members if was no big deal, except for members the possibility of becoming o squad leader for the first time. For rhe freshmen it was a totally different experience. Most of them were terrified; rhe sight of marching block charts and continuity sheets absolutely blew their minds. Such questions os you mean this little X is me?! ond, What does RFL ond TTR mean? , were heard echoing through the bond room. They soon learned that yes , that little X was one of them, ond yes , they hod ro get from one end of the field ro rhe other while ploying their horns. The bond hod o new look this year with the Drum Majors dressed in copes and the rifle corps dressed in shorts instead of gouchos. Tomi Abernathy, Rosie Clowson, Amy Ohl, ond Cori Hegg were voted Outstanding Bond Members for freshmon, sophomore, junior, ond senior classes respectively. Lori Smith wos voted outstanding Trojonerre. Chrysro Goley was voted outstanding Rifle Corps member. Brendo Wallerich received rhe Attitude Aword.
