Marching Trojans — That’s Entertainment The biggest challenge for the band members this year started on July 28th, the beginning of marching band season. Even though practices were rough and Mr. Milach was tough, the applause of the audience and the “Great Job” by Mr. Milach, made it a very rewarding and worthwhile season. The Attitude Award was received by Randy Syfert. Outstanding Marching Awards were presented to Suzanne Davis, freshman; Amy Ohl, sophomore; Carrie Hegg, junior; and Eric Richardson, senior. Carrie McKinney received the Most Outstanding Trojanette Award. This year the band marched their way through six home games, the jamboree, and two parades.

Tennis Team Pushes Forward The 1982 Tennis Team finished with a Record of 5-10 this year. Out of the 19 people that were on the team only 4 were seniors. Eric Richardson, Mike Blom, Dave Dare and Dan Ives will all be greatly missed as they gave us good leadership throughout the season. The key to the future success of the Tennis program is in the players’ hands. They must play TENNIS, TENNIS, TENNIS, this summer for our Tennis Team to be competitive next year. Remember there is no substitute for a positive attitude and great work ability. Top Right: Senior Eric Richardson returns the ball with a smash. Front Row: Wes Wonderlin, Trina Howard, Lori Evans, Cari Hegg, Laurie Kammin, Debby Pelkey, Alisa Ellis, Lisa Kibler, Allen Orahood. Back Row: David Ives, Eric Richardson, Gary Hawkins, Dan Ives, Mike Carter, Dave Dare, Kevin Cates, Todd Gee, Mike Blom, Eric Engle; Coach Mark James. 30
