Henry Herman, Principal My Real Self... Who am I, other than high school principal? This seemingly simple task of separating myself from school employment becomes much more difficult when attempted, because so much of your life is influenced by this responsibility. People initially know you as this person and find it difficult to sort you out as a person (first impressions are lasting impressions). At home with only my family, I usually do the things that I imagine most fathers and husbands do in their homes. Doing tasks around the house; painting, working on my Model T, yardwork and reading give me special pleasures. My family and I have a division of labor, what they hate to do, I do and conversely what I hate to do, they do. Realizing that you’re helping them makes the task easier.
