10..9..8..7..6..5..4 3 seconds, 2 seconds, 1 second . . . BANG! We did it again, we did it again, WE WON, WE WON! “How will we keep that mob in their seats? I hope I do not fall off the ladder when I cut the net! Gosh, I hope my legs last during the pep session.” Thoughts such as these ran through our minds as the TROJANS stole another trophy . . I Imagine 191 girls all dressed in gold jumpers, 382 black gloves flying, blocks sounding off, and shouting voices! This was the picture the Golden Girls impressed in the minds of all those who attended the games. Putting a special stress on straight arms, definite motions, and their squad gymnastic stunts, this year’s cheerleaders, consisting of five squads, led the fans with enthusiasm. But cheerleading was not all fun and glory, there were a lot of hard-working hours behind those yells, stunts, chants, and signs. It took the combined efforts of Miss Davis, the pep club officers, cheerleaders, and girls to make such an outstanding organized group. w (ABOVE) Officers are Miss Davis; J. Grubb, Pres.; C.
