Three Foreign Languages Given Our foreign language department offers Spanish I, II, III, and IV, taught by Mrs. Plott; French I, II, and III, taught by Mrs. Harris; and Latin I and II, taught by Miss Drewry. Students who take a foreign language learn not only the fundamentals of the course but also the geography of the land and the history and customs of the people. To further their knowledge of the course, students can join the Span- ish, French, or Latin Club. At the club meetings they learn more about the country they are studying. After taking a foreign language for nine months, a student should have learned a great deal about a different people. If the student continues with his course, he should become very familiar with the language he has been studying. Mrs. Plott, Mrs. Harris, and Miss Drewry do their best to help students gain this knowledge. DID YOU KNOW? . . . Mrs. Harris informs Mrs. Plott of the latest happenings at CHS. Mrs. Alicia Plott B.S.
