Here Mrs. Thomas and the social studies group discuss the strong points of their department. Social Studies Staff Sports New Faces Realizing the importance of appreciating the past as well as understanding contemporary situations, the Social Studies De- partment offers eager C.H.S. students a variety of courses — world history and geography, economics, American history, and government. This year there were many higlilights in the activities of the Social Studies Department. Senior government students were highly enthusiastic about the workings of the state government after hearing Delegate George Kostel, representative from the Sixth District.
