The School Board has the responsibility for seeing that the city of Covington provides the very best schools possible for its young people. These men give unstintingly of their time in order to fulfill their obligations. One of the most important things on the agenda for this year is the addition to our build- ing. John S. Heretick, B.A., M.A., Prin- cipal, St. Charles College, Universi- ty of Virginia. Mr. Heretick is a man of many talents. In addition to the regular task of scheduling classes, supervising school personnel, and maintaining discipline, which are parts of every principal ' s job, he acts as the counsellor ' s counsellor; the teacher ' s teacher; the student ' s confidant. Be it teacher or student who has a problem, he is the one who is sought out for aid.
