I-IIGH SCHOOL - the doorway to horizons unlimited The hundreds of students who are seen daily entering the high school building on Lexington Street are not just going to school. Each student is entering the doorway to his future-a future with boundless possibilities. It is a fortunate circumstance that in our country an in- dividual is privileged to progress to the fullest extent of his talents and his efforts. Limitations are imposed only by lack of ability, unwillingness to strive, low ambition and poor and insufficient training. The training is the job of our schools, the other qualities we bring with us. The product which the school can deliver depends upon the material we bring her and the effort we make in our classes, sports and extra-curricular activities. In the progress which we as individuals hope to make in a land where the horizons are unlimited, our high school train- ing will last through life as a strong foundation to support our future endeavors. With a trained mind, a developed character and a whole- some personality the exit from high school is one more goal attained on that road toward the horizon-the unlimited hori- zon.

In Recognition of Her Worth Mrs. Lunger in three of her characteristic school activities. l. Ciounseling a student. 2. Chaperoning a social function. 3. Ts-aching, an linglisli class. Her wise counseling in personal and vocational questions and her sound teaching have helped us untangle many knotty problems of our school life. She has participated wholeheartedly in our activities and, more than anything else, she has a genuine interest in each of us.
