To win a letter, those persons engaged in football or basketball must have played at least 50W of the total quarters played during the year. Those receiving letters for boxing are decided upon by the coach and approved by the principal. The member- ship totals thirty. Pastimes of the Monogram Club are numerous. Its members frequently sell soft drinks at games and at the Clifton Forge game they sold programs. Returns from their dance filled the treasury. Much amusement is furnished each year by initiation of new members-that is to every one except the new members l 30
