We hove attempted to record the events that people do see, ond some they don't see, when they come cruisin' ot CHS. I sincerely hope that we hove captured whot life ot CHS is like so that in future years you con look ot this book ond remember your years ot CHS. I would like to thonk Kathy Christian, my assistant editor, for oil her help on this book ond wish her great luck on next year's book. I would also like to thonk Korlo Kuntz, art editor, Nikki Johnson, typist, Eric Rice and Gene Rapp, photographers, ond oil my unof- ficial helpers (you know who you ore). Thanks to Mr. Fisher, my advisor, for all his sup- port ond help and to the Ad Staff for raising the money that made this book possible. Most of all, I would like to thonk the student body and the faculty for their cooperation throughout the year. I wont to wish much happiness ond success to the Class of 1984. Moy this book be full of the memories of when you cruised the halls at CHS. Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road, Healthy, free, the world before me, The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose. Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good fortune, Henceforth I whimper no more, postpone no more, need nothing, Done with indoor complaints, libraries, querulous criticisms, Strong and content, I travel the open rood.
