By 1800, it had been sufficiently completed so that the government could move here from Philadelphia. The completed north wing housed the House of Representa- tives, the Senate and the Supreme Court. The Buccaneer has grown out of a compelling need to capture, pre- serve , and extend the rich memories of the school year. How wonderful it will be to ponder these pages in years to come. I extend my sincere congratula- tions to the yearbook staff and best wishes to the graduates. Mr. Irvin Superintendent The 1976 yearbook provides a vis- ual and nostalgic look at the many activities and individuals that made the 1975-76 school year a very exciting experience for all of us. The year of 1976 marks the bicen- tennial anniversary of our nation, and the parades, celebrations and other special occasions are histori- cally recorded in the photographic exhibits of the Buccaneer. Thus, the Buccaneer contributes to our total high school education by providing a moment of reflection and self analysis by which we can better understand our school peers and environment. Congratulations to the Buccaneer staff and advisor for an excellent production. W.
