FOREWORD A MESSAGE FROM THE EDITORS DESK The 1970 Buccaneer is complete at last. My year as editor of the 1970 year- book has been filled with pictures, deadlines, people, and meetings. Like most schools, our staff has devoted much hard work and many long hours into this year's yearbook. It is our desire that as you leaf through these pages, you will recall many priceless moments of the 69-70 school year. 1970 DEDICATION The 1970 Buccaneer is dedicated to our custodian, MR, CARL LOCKER, for his fine serv- ices in the past fourteen years to the students, the faculty, and for the Covington High School. He has spent a lot of his time in keeping our school clean and well repaired. He spends ex- tra hours in cleaning up after dances and other special activities. He fills the pop machines and keeps afresh pot of coffee around for the faculty. Mr. Locker plays a big role in keeping the beauty of our school. It’s not every day he is thanked for his services so we are showing our appreciation by this dedication. We all have our own little corner! Mr. Locker and his trusty broom. Keeping the school clean is one of Mr. Locker's daily duties.
