THE CLASS OF 1969 MOTTO: America is Our Future; We are the Future of America, COLORS: Midnight Blue and Gold FLOWER: Yellow Tea Rose SONG: Exodus ADVISORS: Mrs. Beth Culbertson, Mrs. Marjorie Mutzner CLASS OFFICERS Don Fisher-------- Keith Warner- - Connie Gearhardt Daryl Landes------ President Vice President Secretary Treasurer The one hundreth graduating class of 1969 began the school year with a spirit jeep boosting the Buccs at Homecoming. After the three busiest years CHS has ever seen, the Seniors decided to sit back and watch the underclassmen work instead of themselves. Thus, they only sponsored one dance during basketball season. The Seniors took time out of their relax- ing to produce the fabulous senior class play, revealing a lot of 'hams but good ones. The Seniors boasted many outstanding foot- ball and track boys, and scholastic students. Somehow they found enough energy to raise quite a ruckus at the kid party, having a ball. But the parents had the most fun watching their kids acting like dumb little brats! With their remaining strength, individ- ually, they proudly walked down the aisle and across the stage of CHS to receive their well deserved and long awaited diplomas. Then as they received their yellow roses, they left Covington High School to become another generation in the future of America, this world, and this universe. Senior Class officers are: Don Fisher, President; Connie Gearhardt, Secretary; Keith Warner, V. President; Daryl Landes, Treasurer. 18
