Brother Donald McKee, S.M. Principal Dear Colonels, The end of any slchool year brings its share of joys and sadness. Much we have to look back on with pride and satisfaction. Most of our regrets are that the year had to end, that the seniors must say goodbye and carve out a new life in uncharted land. What was so good about the past year? The trophycase crammed with awards won this past year bears eloquent testimony to excellence in athletics as well as speech and debate. The school's long dream of having a football team was realized when the stu- dents themselves raised the necessary funds. Seniors benefited from the new honors program introduced this past year. It was indeed a year to remember. Best of all the school is moving more and more into the area of student involvement in various apostolates . The Sodality, the weekend leadership sessions, direct aid to poor families, assiste ance to needy students With tutoring, --all these show Catholic education in its finest role. Much of our sadness is saying goodbye to Brothers Dan Donovan and Howard Knachel. With us all four years, these two Marian- ists left us an example worthy of lifetime emulation. We thank God for two such teachers. Sincerely yours in J.1VI.J.,
