This yearbook is a record of one year in the life of a very small part of Christis Mystical Body. This may sound like a bold statement, and yet it should not sound that way for that is exactly what a Catholic school is or should be. In my position it is wonderful to behold how this life is constantly being built up by the many seemingly insignificant actions of teachers, students, parents, and members of the Covington Catholic family. We have all seen most clearly how Jim and Joe Corbett contributed to this life of Christ in Covington Catholic. Perhaps it was only after their death that we suddenly realized just how much they had given to the building up of Christls life here, As you look through this yearbook in future life remembeir how each little event be it humorous, serious, painful or joyous had a part in this building up of Christ in the school. However, also from my vantage point can be seen the insidious efforts of evil to tear down the life of Christ in the schools Like all evil it is hidden and in many cases not known to exsit even by those who unloosed it by gossip, intrigue, etc. And yet we know that in God's providence even this will work toward the eternal sharing in Christ's life and love. Pray that as your life closes you may look back and suddenly realize only then how much you con- tributed to the building up of Christ's life in the Church, your own family, your Parish, your com- munity, and your place of work. Bro. Don BRO. DONALD FAHRIG, SM Principal
