IT S THE PRINCIPAL CF IT ALL! Mr. Otto is not only the overseer of all school events and functions at Covina High, but he is also the con- tact between the students, the faculty, the school administration, and the district administration. He must co- ordinate the jobs of the faculty, cler- ical staff, and administration, and consistently stick to the policies set down by the Board of Education. Little do most students realize the vast amount of Work and responsibil- ities that lie on the shoulders of their principal. Leadership, planning, coordination, compromise, and policy functioning are all daily routine to Mr. Otto.
