As our class advisors, we had Miss Newman, Mr. Davis, and Mr. Wahl. At last we were beginning to be treated like civilized people. We were now entitled to participate in school activities. The year was ended by a wonderful picnic at Firestone Metropolitan Park. S OPH OM ORE : We entered our sophomore year with a little more boldness than our freshman year. This year our advisors were Miss Dalcher, Mr. Kormanik, and Mr. Secoy. We brought this year to an end by two picnics. Miss Dalchqr's class held theirs at Rex Lake Park, and Mr. Kormanik's class held theirs at Virginia Kendall Park. I UNIORS: At last we were upperclassmen. Our extra curricular activities expanded somewhat. Our advisors were Mrs. Biles and Miss Smith. As our class officers, we had Ed Simpson as presi- and Marian Measelle as treas- was. A most entertaining play entitled Brother Goose. jean at Buckeye Boy's and Girl's was held at Meyers Lake Out- dent, Bob Simpson as vice president, Faye Willis as secretary, urer. For the first time we realized what money making really was presented, under the direction of Mrs. Biles and Mrs. Mack, Vlcek and Bob Erwine were chosen to represent Coventry State. This year was ended by about the best prom ever given. It door Ballroom on June 1. The class picnic was held at Virginia Kendall Park. SENI ORS: Finally, we became The Brass of the school. Mrs. Packan was granted the honor of being our Top Sergeant. Ken Boing was elected president of the class. He was assisted by Ed Simp- son, vice president, Emma Lou Whissen, secretary, and Susie Plum, treasurer. The Student Council officers were Bob Erwine, president, Gene Roebuck, vice president, Barbara Young, secretary, and Jean Vlcek, treasurer. The band, outfitted in new uniforms, became Summit County's Champion Band. Our basketball team made an excellent showing by being Metro League Champs. The Senior play, Every Family Has Onef' under the direction of Mrs. Packan was a huge success. The Senior banquet, which was held at Young's was enjoyed by all. Baccalaureate was on May the twenty-fifth, and Commencement on May the twenty- eighth. Our last hours of high school were brought to an end by an outstanding prom by the juniors at Meyers Lake Ballroom on May twenty-sixth. As we make our exit, we know that the Class of '52 will long be praised and remembered in the halls of Coventry. -Ji 4- Perfect Attendance - Student Council - l SHIRLEY MAE WITWER Works hard, and talks l,2,3 CHARLES MICHAEL YAKUBIK
