He was on the All-Metro football team twice and captain once. Dave has ex- celled in all sports all during high school, but he still prefers foot- ball before all others. Athletics are not his only achievement though. He is a member of the National Honor Society and other organizations. Dave's good humor has made him one of the most liked persons in school. BILLIE IO SCOTT Although Billie Io is small, she can win an argument with any- one when she wants to. She play- ed the tempestuous daughter in Yes and No then turned around and became the business man- ager ot the annual. Her air of in- dependence greatly defies her appearance of helplessness CHARLES MASHBURN Charlie's personality just nat- urally makes him want to be in a lot of activities. In four years of school he has covered a greater variety of activities than most seniors. His friendliness towards life make him liked by everyone. He is a natural-born actor and eats bigger lunches at the Comet than three people could. PAT MAGLIONE Pat's friendliness has made her very popular with the students. She was chosen as Homecoming Queen and has led the students in cheers for three years. Her fine singing voice has made her a natural for the musical shows given here. CHARLES IACKSON Charlie is one of the quietest people in the senior class, but he is by no means a wall-flower . He was production manager of our Iunior play and came through with flying colors. With his able leadership the class has weather- ed the last year without too many battle scars. Without Charlie we'd all feel pretty much alone. ERNIE ROWLAND Teen fshort for Teenie l has only been with us a year, but his friendly personality has made him one of the most popular people around here. He is well- known as an entertainer, speaker, musician, and scholar. His ability to adlib made him perfect as in- terlocutor in the minstrel. When Ernie tells a joke, he uses a dead- pan technique that practically makes you laugh without first hearing the joke. ELIZABETH DUNN Friend of all and enemy of none. That's the phrase that lits Elizabeth to a Her ability to know what to do makes everyone feel secure. She has always been one of the first to help in any job regardless of the amount of work required. Her hearty laughter makes anyone feel good. LEONARD GWINN Punny is the word for Lenny. His wise-cracks have kept us laughing through many years of trials and tribulations. Gwinn has excelled in football, dramatics, and many other activities, but we will always think of Lenny as the good humor man of the class. HELEN COX Helen gets her nickname hon- estly because her smile reveals two attractive dimples. She has been cheerleader for two years and is a member of the National Honor Society. Besides singing in the chorus for four years, she has worked fervently on the minstrels and other shows. MARIAN :WELTY Marian's quiet charm has made her a friend of everyone she meets. She was secretary of -the student body and the student council. Besides being Homecom- ing attendant, she was crowner ot the Spring Swing's Queen. i , MJ New sr-rv' -J 'r MOORES GROCERY 528 Portage Lakes Drive 12 MI-2021 x V 3 ' B Sv 3 qs 0 3 5 as ' 00 C3 ...
