Their class rings arrived as early as October: and then in February their blue and white class jackets arrived. Whmssewrihdoa. Row 1-Miss Hoffman, Iaunita Miller. Mary Witt, Evelyn Smith. Ruth Dc I-su. Ruth Boyle, Georgia Cvreenhorne, Viola Hill, Miss Crecelius. Row 2-Mr. Price, Tom Peale, lack Foley, Ed Combs, Don Mason, Iames Hughey. This year this cast, chosen by the faculty, presented Mamas Baby Boyu on February 21, 1942. The play was a fine product of Miss HofTman's and Mr. Prices direction. PERS N ALITIES Wilson has been a member of the Hi-Y. Varsity C, and journal- ism staff. He was se- lected varsity end on the All-Metro team. Opal excels in her dancing ability. She has been a member of the Iunior and the Senior Girl Reserves and science club. Opals favorite subjects have been chem- istry and history. Iim Provence, known as Hank, is noted for his athletic ability. He was captain of the Foot- ball team and placed on the All-Metropolitan team. He was elected honorary captain of this year's basketball team and placed on the All- Metropolitaii team. He is president of the Var- sity l'C Club of which he has been a member for the last four years. Ruth, by popular vote, became 1941's Homecom- ing Queen. She has been secretary of the Senior Class and a member of the Iunior and Senior Girl Reserves. Iohn. known for his rambling Ford and his warbling baritone, has reigned supreme as half- back of the football team. guard of the basketball team, and coach of Lake- view team. Wanda plays the flute in the orchestra and band as she has done for four years. She was given the honor of crowning the queen at the Homecom- ing celebration. Morrie is easily dis- tinguished by the lock of white hair arising from his forehead. He is best remembered for his per- formance on the basket- ball court. Charlie's keen wit and great love of music have led to his being called the MBenny Goodman of Coventry. He has been voted president of the student body. Compliments of Artis Place - Swartz Corners
