CLASStHSTORY Entering high school in 1950, as a group of Freshmen, we have slowly, but surely advan-:ed through the various stages of Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years, finally reaching the rank of a Senior. During this time many changes have taken place, some dropped out, some were transferred, and there are a few new-comers. Early in our high school days our class was organized. Ben Martin was elected president of the Fresh- man Class. Jimmy Martin was president of the Sophomore Class. Billy Willard served in the Junior year and to lead us through our Senior year, we again elected him president. Cur class is now taking part in many activities such as the Newspaper, Chapel programs, P.T.A. programs, Annual Staff, Glee Club, 4-H Club and Sports. As the class of '54, we make no claim for high honors, but have played well our role in the years at Courtney High School. We will be missed for awhile but other will take our place. We will never forget the memories of joy and sorrow, success and failures. These we so cherish for nothing can ever take their place. But in the years to come, we grant you will recall the memories of the Class of '54.
